The Cocoon Collection has officially launched its first batch of the “Starter Program”, a pioneering internship initiative aimed at nurturing and empowering the next generation of Maldivian hospitality professionals.

Leaders from The Cocoon Collection’s three iconic properties; Cocoon Maldives, Joy Island Maldives, and You & Me Maldives travelled across different parts of the Maldives to identify passionate, driven young individuals with a keen interest in the tourism and hospitality industry.

After a careful selection process, 31 students and young talents were chosen to join this exclusive program, marking the beginning of an exciting journey in one of the nation’s most dynamic industries.

The official inauguration of the Starter Program took place at Joy Island Maldives, bringing together leaders and representatives from all three properties to celebrate this important milestone. The event served as both a welcoming ceremony and a symbol of The Cocoon Collection’s ongoing commitment to investing in local communities and developing future leaders in the Maldivian hospitality sector.
