Amilla Fushi Bags Gold and Silver as Leading Wellness Hotel Resort in Maldives and South Asia at SATA 2018

Idyllic island resort Amilla Fushi triumphs at the recent South Asian Travel Awards (SATA), scooping up the awards for Leading Wellness Hotel Resort in the Maldives and South Asia. 

In a prestigious ceremony held at the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai, India on 15 September 2018, Amilla received the Gold award at national level and Silver award at regional level in the highly coveted category.

The South Asian Travel Awards is the first ever regional travel awards ceremony endorsed by multi-national associations providing the tourism sector of the South Asian region with recognition towards their facilities and service excellence. 

SATA aims to encourage and raise service standards of the tourism industry within the region, identifying and rewarding hospitality organisations.  Nominations included 36 categories in 10 segments, with a record of 500 nominations from the Maldives, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Bhutan.
