Maldivian Announces Special Flights to Dhaka and Domestic Airports for Eid al-Adha

Maldivian has announced a special flight schedule to Dhaka and regional airports; Dharavandhoo and Hanimaadhoo, during this Eid al-Adha holidays.  

According to the national airline, Malé – Dharavandhoo and Dharavandhoo – Hanimaadhoo flights will be operated on 15th, 16th and 17th of July while Dharavandhoo – Malé and Hanimaadhoo –Dharavandhoo flights will fly passengers on 29th, 30th and 31st of July 2021. 

The airline also revealed operation of special flights for passengers required to travel to Dhaka, Bangladesh on 21st and 23rd of July 2021. 

The government of Maldives has recently lifted travel restrictions for fully-vaccinated locals to visit their home islands or to visit capital Malé from islands with implemented precautionary measures. Currently, vaccinated locals are allowed to travel to islands with low-to-no cases of COVID-19, without having to quarantine for 14 days.  

Maldivian currently operates daily to weekly flights to domestic airports across the atolls in addition to seaplane operations to some resorts.
