The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands Appoints Jacqueline Rose Szarmach as Sommelier

The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands announces the appointment of Jacqueline Rose Szarmach as Sommelier, effective from April 1, 2021. 

Having a Wine and Management Diploma and WSET 2 certification, Jacqueline continues to cultivate her career as a Sommelier. Spending 2 years in France and Italy performing various roles such as Harvest Cellar Hand and Master Class Manager has further enhanced her experience. 

Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Jacqueline worked with Cheval Blanc Randheli, Maldives performing the role of Sommelier.  

For more than 2 years, Jacqueline managed the inventory, purchasing and wine sales for Cheval Blanc. She crafted wine pairings for multi-course dinners and special occasion menus. Jacqueline was also in-charge on selecting wines for large private parties based on the guests’ varied preferences. 

With Jacqueline’s extensive experience, she will definitely be a great asset to The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands.
