Team
Buoy by Milaidhoo wins the 10th season of Ooredoo Masrace, the
exciting annual fishing tournament by Ooredoo Maldives which has become an integral
part of Ramadan in the Maldives. As a wonderful surprise, the team donated
their cash prize of MVR 50,000 to Kudakudhinge Hiyaa.
A
number of special awards were given out tonight after a very competitive grand
finale featuring and Team Buoy, STELCO Women, STELCO Men and Team Velassaru:

Team
Buoy won Ooredoo Masrace 2019 with a whopping 539.65 points, while STELCO Men
became the runner-ups with 205.85 points, and STELCO Women received third place
with 95.25 points.
Tonights
grand finale also celebrated Eid al Fitr, and was joined by the Minister of
Fisheries, Marine Resources
& Agriculture, Hon. Zaha Waheed; CEO of VTV, Mr. Mohamed Asif and the Executive
Management Team of Ooredoo Maldives.
Director of Sales and

Sixteen
teams including government institutions and major corporates participated in
this years Ooredoo Masrace. As a 10th
anniversary special that encouraged more women to participate in the fisheries
industry, Ooredoo also hosted a special round just for women teams.
