ADDU CITY INVESMENT FORUM 2017

The first Addu City Investment Forum has been held at Equator Village , Gan Island , ADDU City on 22nd April 2017. This forum has been organized by Maldives Integrated Tourism Development Corporation to showcase investment opportunities in Addu City and introduce the novel concept of integrated tourism and its opportunities in the City.

The forum brought together local and international stakeholders in the tourism industry which include local small-scale entrepreneurs, guest house owners and operators, local and international operator, bankers, financial institutes, resort operators etc. who are keen to invest in this concept using their expertise and knowledge gained from their longer tenure in the industry.

MITDC also believes that Addu City is a prime location and ideal platform for tourism investments to continually advance the destination offering especially for the mid range tourism sector in Maldives and the forum will help to achieve these aspirations. Hence, MITDC has undertaken a number of projects to introduce integrated tourism to Addu City.
