Modernized new ticketing office and services introduced by Maldivian

New ticketing office inaugurated by the Maldivian with the intention of modernizing their current services.

Latest technology was used to operate and open the revitalized Umar Shopping Arcade and City Square Building offices by the long-term employees of the Island Aviation service.

Mohamed Rizvi, the Managing Director of the ceremony expressed that the company works to provide better services everyday and the priority at the moment is to modernize and to expand their branches, in addition to providing a comfortable environment for the employees.


"Under this position, something I gave utmost importance to was providing a positive working environment. As such, we are proceeding to slowly revitalize the offices of various departments." Stated Mohamed Rizvi.

As a result of the expansion, Mohamed Rizvi guaranteed the services will be enhanced. "Our previous working environment was poor. But now, since the expansion of the call center, employee participation has improved. As a result, service will also improve."

It was also revealed that, a mobile application for ticket service will be introduced in the near future as they are working putting immense effort to upgrade their services in various ways.

Mohamed Rizvi revealed, "Bookings are already being made through Viber. Once the operation takes off in other countries, it would expand rapidly. The work to adopt a Mobile Application has already begun."

The national airline of the Maldives, Maldivian has been continuously working to expand and better their services. A brand-new 330 airline is expected to be allocated in order to travel to further destinations including, China and cities of other countries of the like, informed the airline.
