Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has announced a massive global advertising campaign in collaboration with CNN, the number one international media brand to promote Maldives over a span of three months starting March 2020.

This campaign will be yet the biggest campaigns carried out by MMPRC. Maldives will be featured on CNN editorials, travel vignettes and the Great Big Story segment with further access to commercial spots across CNNs international channels in Europe, Middle East Africa, Asia Specific and South Asia during the allocated time.

To promote Maldives as a preferred destination, roadshows, fairs, familiarization trips, outdoor campaigns and joint campaigns will commence throughout 23 different markets as part of the strategy with CNN.

Based in America, CNN reaches more individuals in traditional and digital media than any other cable news organization in the United States with a global reach of 638 Million monthly. CNNs global audience has a vast reach and brand recall among upscale Luxury Travelers as well as those looking for Local Culture, Cuisine, Sports & Wellness activities.

This initiative will aim to highlight the unique aspect of Maldives to raise the profile of Maldives as a world-class destination that appeals to affluent travelers and those seeking unique experiences. This campaign would also boost the destination presence in the global market to increase the intent to visit the Maldives.
