Qatar Airways Achieves a Host of Awards in Asia Pacific

Qatar Airways (QA) continues its award-winning year by clinching the 'Best In-flight Service' Award at the 29th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2018. 

The airline was also named the 'Best Middle Eastern/African Airline' for the ninth consecutive year at the recent 2018 Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards.

"We are pleased to have won these awards, which bear testament to our commitment to excellence and delivering an exceptional experience to our passengers," said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar al-Baker.

"We are grateful to our customers for their continued vote of confidence, and to our staff for the outstanding standards of service, they continuously demonstrate. It is this customer-first approach that drives our business forward year on year."

According to Qatar Airways, the Best Inflight Service Award was given to the company in recognition of the airline for having the best product and services, most consistent and reliable network and schedule and also for having the best agency outreach programmes.

The 29th Annual TTG Travel Awards 2018 is organised by TTG Asia, one of the regions most trusted travel trade resources. The airline awards are decided based on votes cast by travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies.

Qatar Airways was also named the Best Middle Eastern/African Airline at the Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards held in Hong Kong on September 13. 

The Business Traveller Asia Pacific awards pay tribute to the very best in the travel and hospitality industry, those who go an extra mile to make travellers experiences as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The awards are independent and are based on votes from readers business travellers and frequent flyers and are verified by global market research leaders.
