Vistara has announced its direct service flight schedules to Colombo, Sri Lanka daily - except for Wednesdays starting from November 25, 2019. This makes it the fourth international destination of the airline in its fast-expanding network.
A320neo aircraft with three-class cabin configurations will
be scheduled to fly between Mumbai and Colombo. This adjustment makes Vistara
the first airline to offer the choice of Premium Economy class for travel on
the India and Sri Lanka route besides its Economy and Business class.
Leslie Thng, Chief Executive Officer, Vistara, said, "Sri
Lanka is a very promising destination for Vistara, given the growth it
continues to record in trade and tourism, especially as India is the largest
tourism source market for Sri Lanka. As we bring Indias only five-star airline
on the India - Sri Lanka route, we are confident that our entry will further fuel
the travel appetite among people."
Travellers are given the choice to take one-stop connections from other cities in addition to Mumbai, going both ways. Bookings
are available for flights to and from Colombo on all channels, including
Vistaras website, OTAs and travel agents.
