Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is welcoming autumn with great discounts to destinations across its network, including Zanzibar from EUR 459 in Economy and EUR 1,499 to travel in the airline’s award-winning Business class.

The sale is live now until 16 September, for travel until 22 June 2023.

Guests can explore the beautiful wonders of India or enjoy a relaxing experience in the peaceful retreats of Sri Lanka, starting from EUR 499. For sea lovers, the sunny islands of the Maldives and the stunning golden beaches of the Seychelles are waiting, for fares as low as EUR 529.

Those who prefer a unique combination of a bustling cosmopolitan life, world-class beaches and magnificent desert landscapes, the recommended option would be to visit the United Arab Emirates. Fares to the capital, Abu Dhabi, start at EUR 228 in Economy and EUR 1,799 in Business.

Guests can also opt to break up long haul travel, or discover two destinations in one trip, by booking a stopover. With the relaunch of Etihad Stopovers, travellers can benefit from 40% discounted prices at one of Abu Dhabi’s participating premium four-star and five-star hotels or enjoy a one or two-night complimentary stay in a three or four-star hotel.

Martin Drew, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Cargo, Etihad,  commented: “Etihad’s global sale means there’s no better time for travellers to plan their dream holiday, explore new destinations and make memories. Guests can look forward to Etihad’s renowned inflight experience, with Emirati hospitality delivered by award-winning Cabin Crew. .”

Conscious Choices

Travelling with the Environmental Airline of the Year, guests can show their love for the planet by offsetting their flights with the airline’s green loyalty programme launched earlier this year. Conscious Choices rewards travellers with Tier Miles and additional benefits for carrying less baggage on board and offsetting their flights’ carbon emissions using Etihad Guest Miles.

In addition to that and with its new Etihad Mangrove Forest initiative, Etihad will plant one mangrove tree  in Abu Dhabi for each Economy Space seat purchased on any Etihad Airways flight. Each mangrove planted alone will absorb up to 250kg of CO2 in its lifetime – the same amount produced by an eight-hour flight.
