Souk by City Investments is the latest supermarket outlet added to the family of outlets by City Investments Pvt Ltd. It has an in-store baking station with an in-house dining area located on the 1^st floor of the supermarket. The supermarket was opened with International brands available to their clients such as Darbo, Fentimens, Pregel Gelato, Compal Juices being just a few of the brands among many that City Investments is distributors for. It also boasts of a City Bakery counter allowing access to clients for baked goods from City Bakery.

The official opening of the supermarket was inaugurated by the Mayor of Male city, Mayor Shifa Mohamed, in a ceremony held on the 03^rd of August 2019. During the ceremony held at the supermarket located in Orchid Magu, supermarket being next to island music, Mayor Shifa Mohamed congratulated the Management and Employees of City Investments for the opening of an innovative supermarket with new concepts and ambience to the residents of Male City. Mayor Shifa highlighted on the fact that City Investments has crossed many thresholds and challenges in its endeavours to provide a much-needed range of products and services to the community, including catering to the needs, demands and requirements of the residents of Male City on every level.

Furthermore, Mayor Shifa also highlighted that City Investments has revolutionized the baking industry in Maldives with their variety of breads and pastries which were not available at the time City Bakery 1^st introduced their baked goods in 2002. The Mayor wished City Investments success on their new venture Souk by City Investments and thanked them for introducing a range of products that adhered to HACCP standard and working to putting their customers health a priority.

Aisha Didi speaking on behalf of City Investments Pvt Ltd highlighted that they have always believed in Innovation and not compromising Quality in their products and services to their clients. Aisha also emphasised on the conception and design of Souk taking place in Austria by a World- renowned company, Umdasch Group, recognized worldwide for specialising in conceptualising and designing shops and supermarkets. The entire store was flown and assembled by a special team from the Umdasch Group.

Aisha Didi also emphasised that it has always been a continuous effort and priority of City Investments to study and understand their customer needs and demands to achieve Customer satisfaction.
