Skydive Maldives in partnership with Mecure Maldives has held the largest and the longest skydiving event at Mercure Maldives Kooddoo.

In this boogie event held from 1st to 24th February, 328 licensed skydivers from over 20 different countries participated, experiencing a birds eye view of the scattered islands of the Maldives as they free fall from the Cessna Caravan aircraft from Germany.

5,000 jumps were carried out over the range of three weeks with the participation of guests and staff alike. Moreover, a small island three miles from Kooddoo was designed as an offsite.

Various skydiving publications over the world were eager to cover this, one of the most anticipated events held at Maldives on such a scale. The official social media accounts of the event kept everyone posted on the activities happening at the island via Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc.
