Leading shipping and logistics services provider, Centurion PLC has announced that a cargo operation will be conducted by the company via Singapore Airlines.

Subsidiary of Centurion PLC, Centurion Air has scheduled the operation of this special cargo flight to Singapore for mid-May 2020. This cargo operation is being conducted upon request by numerous clients, says Centurion Managing Director Aiman Jameel. He also added that those in need of supplies can reach out to the company for purchasing.

Right now, medical supplies and general goods are in demand. There will be opportunity for all interested to bring goods from Singapore and additional cargo flights will be scheduled if there is demand, said Aiman.

Prior to the closure of Maldives' borders, Centurion Air exported fish via Singapore Airlines. However, the company has currently put a halt on all export services due to COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst Centurion has previously exported goods through air cargo, this will be the first time for the company to import goods via this route to the country.
