The Chefs Guild of Maldives (CGM) proudly announces its participation in the prestigious Thailand World Junior Chef Battle, an internationally recognized culinary competition. This event, endorsed by the World Association of Chefs' Societies, features 12 international teams alongside 4 teams from Thailand. The competition provides a unique platform for networking, business opportunities, and professional growth within the global culinary community.

CGM was honored to accept an invitation to this exclusive event, which includes countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Maldives, Mongolia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, China, USA, Australia, and Greece. To represent Maldives, 3 participants and 1 judges were selected. Participants were Mr. Mohamed Nasif, Mr. Ismail Thauseen, Mr. Zahin Zuhury and Ms. Maha Naseer was a jury on behalf of CGM.  

The event commenced on August 28, 2024, in Bangkok and will continue until August 31, 2024 at the Phenix Food Wholesale Hub. The competition offers participants and judges access to valuable resources, including digital badges and evaluation sheets, further enhancing their professional development.
