The Vacations Expo by Highrise continues to be a premier platform for the travel and tourism sector, designed to lead, promote, and advance the industry. The event will bring together a dynamic marketplace featuring locals, expatriates, trade professionals, and business owners from both inbound and outbound travel sectors. This year’s expo promises to highlight competitive offerings from airlines, travel agents, tour operators, resorts, guesthouses, and transport services, catering to the diverse needs of modern travelers.

Scheduled for April 17, 18, 19 and 20, 2025, the expo marks a major milestone as it returns for its 6th consecutive year, following its hiatus during the pandemic. The Highrise team invites all stakeholders, exhibitors, and visitors to join in shaping the future of travel and tourism in the Maldives by attending this highly anticipated event.

About Voyages Maldives

Voyages Maldives began in the early 1980s when travel to the Maldives was still rare. Four visionaries introduced a new way to explore the islands aboard a mechanized traditional dhoni, Voyager 1, offering guests an authentic Maldivian experience.

In 1983, the company became the General Sales Agent for British Airways, a major achievement in its early years. By the 1990s, Voyages Maldives expanded its services to include destination management, providing travel experiences for international partners and visitors.

Despite its growth, the company stayed true to its love for the sea. By 2008, it operated twelve safari vessels and is now recognized as the most trusted safari operator in the Maldives, currently running seven vessels.

Today, after four decades, Voyages Maldives continues to deliver exceptional experiences with a dedicated team and a true local touch. Three of its founders remain actively involved in shaping the future of Maldives tourism.
