Maldives Boating Awards have announced sponsors of 2017 edition. Boat Builder Gulf Craft Inc was appointed as the Main Sponsor while Fuel and Bunkering Service Provider The Hawks Pvt Ltd as Co-Sponsor of the event. A special function held at Champa Central Hotel on 31st July 2017 revealed the sponsors and partners of this year.

The Secretary General of Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM), Mr. Mohamed Ignaz Ali mentioned during the function that the purpose of introducing a platform for the marine industry remains successful after having the award going on since 2013. He also added that the consistency of the brand continues with the kind support and continuous contributions from the sponsors.

Mr. Moosa Izmeel, Managing Director of Unica Pvt Ltd, who managed the Maldives Boating Awards for LAM mentioned that, it gives them a great privilege in hosting an event of it's nature, by having recognized the hard work and businesses of Marine Industry. He also added that , the brand has grown from year to year and they themselves has improved their part in hosting with experience.

Maldives Boating Awards is a brand of Liveaboard Association of Maldives organized and managed by Unica Pvt Ltd. The Grand Finale of Maldives Boating Awards is scheduled for November 2017.
