ALIA INVESTMENTS and Yamaha Technical Academy have launched their fifth Yamaha Technical Training Program, featuring Yamaha Basic and Bronze level courses for Yamaha distributors.

The purpose of this training is to enhance the skills of mechanics, enabling them to provide improved service for Yamaha outboard engines in the Maldives. Mechanics from various agencies and private companies participated in the program, which ran in two phases from August 24, 2024, to September 9, 2024. The sessions were conducted by ALIA’s experienced, Yamaha-certified senior mechanics.

This year celebrates the 50th anniversary of the collaboration between Yamaha and ALIA. ALIA is proud of the extensive training it has provided through Yamaha’s programs, including the ship operator training attended by 63 participants in August.

Yamaha outboard engines introduced by ALIA have been tested in Maldivian waters and adjusted as needed for local conditions. Customers appreciate the availability of spare parts from Yamaha’s sole distributor in the Maldives. As Yamaha continues to launch advanced products, ALIA is committed to training more local mechanics.
