Dubai-based airline, flydubai has increased its flight frequency to the Maldives. The airline now operates two daily flights to the Maldives, extending Arab hospitality to passengers on board said Velana International Airport.

As travel restrictions eased, flydubai recommenced its operation to the Maldives post-lockdown in October 2020 with four weekly flights due to popular demand.

With Maldives remaining a popular destination for UAE, GCC and the Russian speaking markets, the new flight addition will give easier access to passengers looking to vacation in the Maldives during this summer.

flydubai’s passenger experience has been redesigned to enable travel in a safe environment that minimizes crew and passenger contact. Passengers are required to make sure that they are up to date with the regulations from the IATA Travel Centre for their whole journey, and follow the guidance issued by the authorities and the airline.

Tourists planning their trips to the Maldives are required to fill an online health declaration form within 24 hours prior to their departure, as well as have a negative PCR test result, conducted 96 hours (about 4 days) prior to their departure.

Inner Maldives Holidays is the leading and multi-award-winning company in the travel and tourism industry in Maldives and has remained as the General Sales agent for flydubai.
