SriLankan Airlines celebrated 3 years of flying to Gan

SriLankan Airlines has celebrated its 3 years of operation between Colombo and Gan, since the commencement of services to Gan island on 1st December 2016.



Gan is the southernmost island of Addu Atoll (also known as Seenu Atoll), as well as the southernmost island of the Maldives. SriLankan Airlines became the first international airline to offer a Maldivian destination beyond Male'.

SriLankan flies between Gan and Colombo every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

On Mondays and Thursdays, SriLankan Airlines departs from Colombo at 0100hrs, arriving in Gan at 0220hrs. The airline then departs from Gan at 0320hrs, arriving in Colombo at 0540hrs.

On Saturdays, the SriLankan departs from Colombo at 0701hrs, arriving in Gan at 0820hrs. The airline then departs from Gan at 0905hrs, arriving in Colombo at 1125hrs.

SriLankan provides rapid connections through Colombo to its global network, including over 100 weekly flights to 11 cities in India, and a wide range of destinations in the Far East and the Middle East.
