Crown and Champa Resorts (CCR) enhances its luxury portfolio with the new Veligandu Maldives Resort Island, located in the North Ari Atoll. Veligandu’s Ocean Dive Centre provides tailored courses, with opportunities for snorkeling and diving to view diverse marine life, including sea turtles and manta rays. An in-house marine biologist will enhance the experience with insights into marine conservation.

Unique features include the Maldives' second pickleball court, along with padel tennis and bicycles. The resort’s ocean water sports centre offers jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. For relaxation, the overwater Himeyn Spa provides an extensive treatment menu and a yoga pavilion.

The resort features 100 villas, including 47 Ocean Pool Villas with glass floors, 28 Ocean Villas (10 with private jacuzzis), 16 Jacuzzi Beach Villas, and 9 Beach Villas. Each villa has a king-size bed, a private porch, and a large flat-screen TV.

Veligandu offers diverse dining options: Madivaru Teppanyaki Grill for Japanese cuisine, Raalhu for seafood with ocean views, Dhonveli for a buffet of Asian and international dishes, and Thundi for light snacks.
