Kaani Hotels and Tours and Swim Maldives are proud to jointly announce their partnership for the Maldives Aquathlon Championship 2025, taking place October 31st – November 1st in Maafushi.

As the official accommodation partner, Kaani Hotels will provide packages designed specifically for participants and supporters. The championship will feature exciting multi-distance races. October 31st will see the individual races where the Elite category will have athletes competing in 1KM swim followed by a 5KM run, and then a Sprint Category in which athletes will compete over a 500 M swim followed by 2.5 KM run. The day’s activities will finish with a Discover Aquathlon category open for children of all ages, where they will swim/walk in the sea for 200m and then run for 500 M.

1st November will feature all team relays. Teams of 2 will compete in the Elite and Sprint distances. Discover Aquathlon will feature families racing and having a bit of fun together. With up to 300 individual participants and 150 team participants expected to compete, the event promises to be one of the largest aquathlon gatherings in the Maldives. All participants will attend the official race briefing at the Kasthoori Maalam conference facility at Kaani Palm Beach, Maafushi on October 30th, where they will receive all event information and safety guidelines.
