MÓ§venpick Resort, Kuredhivaru, Maldives celebrated their first anniversary by honouring all the hardworking employees of the resort.

The pirate-themed party, named "Pirates of the Kuredhian", saw MÓ§venpick Resort being invaded by the employees dressed as pirates.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of Employees of the Year, which were won by Ilyas Ibrahim from the Reservations Department, and Hussain Samin from the Airport Representative Team.

Nestled on a private island in Noonu Atoll, in the northern part of the Maldives, MÓ§venpick Resort, Kuredhivaru, promises serene seclusion and tropical tranquillity since opening their doors in November 2018.

Adding more cause to celebrate their first anniversary, this year, the resort was also recognised as the best Luxury New Resort in the Indian ocean at the 2019 World Luxury Hotel Awards on 12th October.

"On our first year of operation and being recognised by World Luxury Hotel Awards… of course were thrilled," Maciej Gruszecki, General Manager of Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives, was quoted in a statement, as saying.

"Though we are new, we are making our name in the Maldives and to win the Indian Oceans Luxury New Resort accolade is a pride I share with my team that steps out every day with the enthusiasm to deliver memories in a beautiful location."

The resort is designed in a rather contemporary style, with emphasis on comfort and a private, yet stimulating, resort experience. Every modern convenience is incorporated amidst desert-island luxury, reflecting Mövenpicks renowned commitment to genuine comforts, delivered exceptionally well.
