The shooting of Indian movie "All About Michelle" starts in Bodufolhudhoo.
According to a post on the movies official Facebook page, shooting on Bodufolhudhoo island in Alif Alif Atoll was scheduled to begin on March 20, 2019. Another post also mentioned that the production of the movie is a partnership with MMPRC.
 
 
All About Michelle is a co-production between Andforstarters (a communication agency run by Director Apoorva Marur and her sister Deeksha) and Deccan Development Society.
The entire cast of the investigative thriller meets travelogue are women farmers (part of an NGO called Deccan Development Society) from Zaheerabad, Telangana, who started shooting films as they recognized the advantages of using cinema to spread awareness about the practices of food sovereignty.
 
The synopsis of the movie is about Dr. Avika Rao, who in the midst of her clinical trials on Hydrotherapy as an alternative to anti-anxiety agents, gets suspended temporarily on the grounds of medical malpractice, after the death of the third volunteer: a 24-year-old student. The ethics committee of the research centre takes the help of 2 forensic linguistic experts to find out whether Avika is guilty or innocent of medical misconduct.
