SriLankan Airlines has announced resume of flights from Colombo to Gan Island, the Southernmost Atoll of the Maldives starting August 30, 2021.
The airline resumes Colombo-Gan service after a brief halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On Tuesday, SriLankan operated its first flight since the temporary halt to Gan International Airport in Addu City. The flight landed safely with over 170 passengers.
With no schedule fixed at the moment, the operation will be conducted in the most flexible way during these uncertain times and they are prone to changes based on customer demand and the situation, reports the airline.
