Open days
were held from 23rd-24th February in Champa Central
Hotel, to recruit potential staff for the Crossroads Maldives project which
is established in K.Emboodhoo by the Thailand company, Singha Estate.
In this recruitment, employees were selected based on
their capability for the applied postion and interest in the field, so says
vice president of Crossroads Maldives, whom is also the General Manager of SAii
Maldives Lagoons, Mr. Martin Van Der Reijden.
During this event, more than a thousand was to be filled
for several positions across Crossroad Maldives and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives,
priority was given to the locals, as per the organizers. Furthermore, for those
who wished to apply but were unble to attend the event, the option to apply
through email is available. Those who are hired would be notified within three
weeks after the interviews.
The Emboodhoo Lagoon project is the largest tourism projects in Maldives and consists of 9 islands. This project in a billion-dollar investment and is divided in to two phases. The first phase of this project is due by March this year.
