Once again, Mr. Evgeni Plushenko will be gracing Jumeirah Vittaveli's ice rink, but this time for the rink's first anniversary. The last time Mr. Plushneko was there, he inaugurated the ice rink on the 20th of March, 2018. This year, the ices kater plans to perform at the rink and launch an Olympic gold medal winner ice skating museum at the ice rink.

The museum plans to hold Mr. Plushneko's costumes and skates from his vastly famous gold-winning performances. During the event, guests are more than welcome to view the artistic and athletic ability that Mr. Plushenko holds. And as if that was not enough, Evgeni is going to hold a school for ice skating, so that guests staying at Jumeirah Vittavelis will be able to learn from a real professional. Along with him, there also will be a Saxophone & DJ performance by the Melody Duo to celebrate the occasion. The opening of the museum will take place on 20th March 2019.

In addition to this event, Jumeirah plans to host a culinary event this Easter, featuring chef Ollie Dabbous from Londons HIDE restaurant. Guests will be flown to the Maldives in a luxurious private jet ride, and then will be picked up at the airport and will be able to experience a blissful private yacht ride to the resort.

From the resort, guests will enjoy a scenic seaplane ride to the location of the dinner; an untouched atoll, where they will be able to savour chef Ollie Dabbous's culinary masterpieces, which he will prepare for them, live. For the rest of the night, guests can stargaze from the deck of their own private yacht or head back to their room to enjoy the rest of their 5-night stay in one of Jumeirah Vittavelis new Infinity Pool Ocean Villas, before they are back home on the comfortable private jet ride.
