On Saturday, 15th of September, guests and team members at Kuredu Resort Maldives joined Clean up the World, a global event aimed at encouraging communities to get more involved in helping to look after and protect their local environments.
More than 50 guests and team members took part in this years event and collected 50 kilograms of rubbish, consisting mainly of plastic bottles, fishing lines and smaller bits and pieces.
"We are proud and happy that so many of you decided to give back to the environment. Each one of you made a difference!" Read a statement by the resort which thanked everyone who took part and gave a helping hand at Kuredus 24th Clean up the World event.
