The world renowned tech company Apple has released an ad
which features the beautiful island nation, Maldives.
Apple recently released a series of ads where the main
purpose was to educate their users on how to apply the newest technology in
real life situations, and one of the videos showed the reefs of the Maldives.
The 8-minute video, Shot on iPhone shows how an iOS app
was used to monitor the demographics and movements of different species, by a
one of the field teams of Maldives Whale Shark Research Program (MWSRP). In
addition to this, the video masterfully showcased the rich diverse marine life
in the Maldivian waters where it was shot the reef in Dhigurah Island of Ari
Atoll.
The gave viewers a lot of information on the research-based
conservation charity MWSRP, who dedicate their time on studying whale sharks,
their patterns and behaviors, and fostering community-focused conservation
initiatives in order to protect the species.
The video was released on YouTube and had already received over
237,000 hits on that platform alone. Furthermore, one can not ignore the fact
that the video is being shared multiple times on several other international
medias.
