Principle Partners for the 5th Edition of SATA unveiled

Partners of the highly acclaimed South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) have been unveiled for 2020 today at a ceremony held in Maagiri Hotel, Male at 1630hrs.

 

The leading luxury, and the largest yacht and boat manufacturer "Gulf Craft" signed on as the Platinum Partner of the prestigious award held to celebrate the best of the best in the regions hospitality industry.

 

Gold Partner for SATA 2020 will be The Hawks Pvt Ltd, one of the leading importers and distributors of high-quality fuel products in the Maldives with more than 11 years of experience in the area of fuel supply. This will be the fourth consecutive year that The Hawks signed as Gold Partner for SATA 2020

 

Premium Partners of SATA 2020 were signed by the President of SATA, Mr. Ismail Hameed



 

Platinum Partnership with Gulf Craft Maldives was signed by Mr. Terry Stamatakos, General Manager of Gulf Craft Maldives.

At the end of each year, stellar organisations and individuals from the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry from all over the South Asian region turn their attention to the South Asian Travel Awards. Interest and anticipation build up to a fevered pitch leading to SATA, where thousands of stakeholders attend the glamorous three-day retreat and learn who will receive the highest honours in the regions Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industry.

 

The first edition of the South Asian Travel Awards began in 2016 and has been organized by Highrise Pvt Ltd every year, with the support of various multiple associations and tourism bodies. The celebrated event has grown significantly in terms of participation from the industry as well as the number of awards given out each year.

 

With participants from six destinations (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives) and endorsement from more than 15 Travel Industry Organizations and National Tourism Bodies, SATA has grown immeasurably over the past four years. The 2020 Nominations Announcement took place on Friday, 10th January 2020 revealing 52 categories for properties and brands of the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry to compete, in addition to Visitors Choice Awards and Special Recognition Awards.

 

The SATA Team is proud to unveil the key partners of 2020 and looks forward to host a grand gala celebration awarding the winners of the prestigious award for the leading hospitality brands across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and the Maldives. This year, the South Asian Travel Awards will be held in the Maldives.
