Baglioni Hotels and Resorts has appointed Tanushree Joshi as the brand’s Regional Director of Sales for the areas; Indian Subcontinent, Asia, Middle East & Local DMc. Accordingly, Joshi will oversee the sales and marketing strategies of the luxury, Italian styled Baglioni Resort Maldives.
With over 13 years of experience in the corporate and hospitality sectors working with the Tourism Boards of Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi, as well as with 5-star Hotels and Boutique resorts of Switzerland, South Africa and, Maldives, Joshi has been associated with some of the most renowned hotels in the hospitality sector.
A seasoned sales and marketing person, Joshi has worked with Sun Siyam Resorts as the Regional Sales and Marketing Manager – India and Australia for almost two years before moving The Small Maldives Island Co (TSMIC) in 2018, where she spearheaded the sales and marketing of TSMIC’s three resort properties in the Maldives, viz., Amilla Fushi, Finolhu and Huvafen Fushi, in India market.
Most recently, Joshi filled the role of Sales Marketing Head – Global at Furaveri Maldives. During her time at the resort, Joshi successfully promoted the property in major markets including Local DMC, Germany, Russia, China, UK, Spain
