MMPRC holds a seminar on social media marketing for local guesthouses.

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) holds a seminar on social media marketing for local guesthouses to help them market their products effectively through social and digital media.


Within the first 100 Days of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, tourism industry
has been pushed well in consideration of promoting the local tourism sector. For the first time, a Guesthouse Symposium was organized by the government during late December with stakeholders to identify the challenges. Meanwhile, Guesthouse Association of Maldives has taken part at Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) Mumbai to promote Guesthouse tourism along with MMPRC.




Ministry of Tourism has also invited public comments and opinions to the present regulations applicable for tourism sector. Efforts are being made to enhance different segments of tourism along with tourism related organizations.
