MATATO Hosts a Training on Digital Marketing for Travel Industry

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) hosts a digital marketing training program exclusive for the travel industry, themed under Social-media Marketing and Online Branding. 

Taking place, today at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, this training program is organized by MATATO in partnership with McQuire Rens & Jones is a leading training institute based in Sri Lanka, featuring a popular portfolio of corporate training programs. 35 travel professionals are taking part in this program, representing resorts, guesthouses and travel agencies.



This July, MATATO is hosting two training programs under the partnership with Mc Quire Rens and
Jones:
1. SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING AND ONLINE BRANDING - 10TH JULY 2019
2. CUSTOMER COMPLAINT HANDLING - 11TH JULY 2019

Both training programs are conducted in Male. MATATO training initiatives are intended to develop human capacity and skill in tourism industry, and are mainly targeted for hospitality sector. However, most of these programs are beneficial for employers and employees across the board in service industry.

Annually, MATATO collaborates with McQuire Rens & Jones to bring their premium programs to Maldives. In 2014, MATATO collaborated on the first Social Media Marketing training, executed successfully with more than 60 participants from hotel industry. In 2016, MATATO invited renowned speaker and bestselling author, Dr. Joel Freeman for another eventful program well reviewed by the participants.
