Marriott International has announced the appointment of Ali Nihad as Market Director, Sales & Marketing for Maldives. Nihad will head marketing operations and strategies of Marriott’s Maldives properties in his new role.
With over 18 years of marketing experience in the tourism industry, Nihad has previously worked with hotels of distinguished brands such as Anantara Resorts Maldives, St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, W Maldives and AAA Hotels & Resorts.
Nihad takes on his new role from his previous post as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Mandapa.
Marriott International’s portfolio includes 7 luxury resorts in the Maldives; The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort, JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa, W Maldives, The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa and soon-to-debut Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa and The Ritz Carlton, Fari Islands.
