Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi has recently held two exclusive evenings at the historic Oddfellows in Chester and at the Savoy London to celebrate the launch of the resort and as a token of appreciation to partners and agents.

Both events were hosted by the resort's General Manager Iain McCormack and Director of Sales & Marketing Simmi Pai, along with Accor Global Sales Representatives Alexandra Docherty and Sadie Carrington.

"Thank you Simmi, Alex and Sadie for all your amazing support and coordinating the events and meetings with our partners," said Iain.

"This was a week of re-need collaborations, meeting old friends, having fun and showing off our fabulous piece of paradise in the Maldives. We are looking forward to taking care of our guests in a unique, warm and luxurious heartfelt way."

Located on the northern Shaviyani Atoll, in one of the largest resort lagoons in the Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi, which means "secret water island," comes with the exceptionally spacious and pristine stretch of white-sanded beach of Gaakoshibee Island peppered with opulent water villas overlooking an endless turquoise sea.

Even though the resort officially opened the doors on April 2018, Fairmonts incredibly detailed architecture was adored by guests in the Maldives during the two months soft opening of the resort which started on 1st February 2018. During this time the resort was run as Sirru Fen Fushi, branding commenced upon official opening.

The island covers approximately 160,000 sqm (16 hectares) of land and features one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. The resort features a 200-metre long swimming pool which traverses the length of the island, reinvigorating destination spa and an intricate open-air bamboo bar created by Balinese artisans who did not use any human-made materials in the structure.

Specially adapted to the Maldives, the unique tented jungle villas offer privacy and a romantic castaway vibe; other guests can also experience the green island interiors with glamping BBQs or jungle cinema.

Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi is accessible by domestic flight in 55 minutes from Male International Airport followed by speedboat from Hanimaadhoo Airport to the resort. Alternatively, guests can book a 55-minute seaplane flight directly to the resort.
