VARU by Atmosphere scheduled to open in October 2019

With yet another property to be opened in the Maldives, Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts have planned to open the five-star property, VARU by Atmosphere, in October 2019. Being developed in the north-western edge of Male Atoll, VARU is said to have 108 luxurious villas, of which, 39 are beach front villas which is surrounded by beautiful flora of the island, and is only a few steps away from the signature white powdery sand beaches Maldives is famous for. The other 69 are overwater villas which have signature Maldivian-style interiors, which provide direct access to the ocean form the deck.

Both villas are said to offer a minimalistic design style with splashes of bright color, which ties together with the environment, each having their own private pool as well. A dive and water sports centre, the ELENA spa, a gymnasium, and a kids club are just some of the other facilities the resort is set to offer.

The reef of the island is bright and vibrant, home to many marine life, including the majestic Manta Rays, which is sure to provide guests with a unique snorkeling and dive experience like no other.
