Ace Travels Maldives Launches Malé- Kuwait Charter with Jazeera Airways

Kuwaiti airline, Jazeera Airways has operated a charter flight from Maldives to Kuwait today morning. The chartered flight was arranged by Ace Travels Maldives.  

The passengers on board consisted of Indian nationals traveling to Riyadh and Jeddah after completing their quarantine in the Maldives. A number of travelers, including students from the South Asian countries chooses to fly to their destinations via the Maldives route as it is an easier and flexible way to travel during the pandemic. 

On August 18, 2021, Maldives reached over 700,000 tourist arrivals for the year 2021. From the top markets to Maldives, India ranks 2nd with 132,745 arrivals – recorded from January 1 – August 18. With the opening of border to the South Asian countries, Maldives tourism sector’s potential to bounce back to pre-pandemic arrival numbers has further increased.  

Jazeera Airways is reportedly scheduled to operate another charter service on August 25, 2021. 

implemented various measures to ensure the safety of passengers since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its expanding fleet of Airbus A320neo aircraft are all equipped with hospital grade HEPA air filters in addition to other standard precautionary measures.
