After a hiatus of three years owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical edition of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Travel Mart, hosted by India, is commencing today, at the International Exhibition-cum Convention Centre (IECC).

One of the most significant tourism related trade exhibitions held internationally, PATA Travel Mart though catering principally to B2B networking and collaboration, will bring together worldwide traders; buyers and sellers, primarily from the Asia Pacific area under one roof, creating the opportunity for a wide array of products relevant to this sector such as wellness, adventure, heritage, culinary and arts to be presented to global spectators.

In addition to the B2B mart, the event will exhibit exciting and different activities such as the prestigious PATA Gold Award, the PATA Youth Symposium and the PATA Forum on Sustainability.

In a statement released by the Union Ministry of Tourism, they applaudingly recognized PATA as a globally renowned not-for-profit association instrumental in the enhancement of travel and tourism in the Asia Pacific region and highlighted India’s participation in the exhibition in a “substantial manner”.

“A designated pavilion for India at the Mart will create an immersive experience of the gamut of destinations in India both known and lesser known,” the statement said. State governments of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, and other ministries will also put up stands and stalls to display their products it said.

The 46th Edition of the exhibition is being hosted at Pragati Maidan in Delhi and will continue for 3 days, concluding on October 6, 2023.
