Ooredoo Drone Race 2023 kicked off today with the qualifying round for Sky Walker category at Hulhamle’ Central Park. While 30 pilots were given the opportunity to register for the Sky Walker category, 9 skilled pilots have earned their spot in the final round. Drone pilots of the Sky Walker category showcased impressive drone piloting skills flying through the obstacle hoops installed at the park as part of the race course. One standout moment was the youngest qualifier, a 13-year-old participant, adding a youthful spark to the unfolding drone racing event.

Ooredoo Drone Race 2023 final is set to be held on Ooredoo Fun Run Day, December 22nd, Friday, at Hulhumale' Central Park. The final race will see pilots from two dynamic categories: Sky Elite (FPV Drone) pilots and Sky Walker (DJI Non-FPV Drones), where pilots who advanced from the qualifying round will navigate their drones through a challenging course. The race will be a timed race where participants will compete to complete the race in the shortest possible time.

Competitors participating in the Sky Walker and Sky Elite categories of Ooredoo Drone Race 2023 will be honored with exclusive prizes, recognizing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in this exciting drone challenge.
