Four Maldivians will be representing their country at the
World Surfing Games 2019.
The four finalists for the national team were chosen in The
Trials 2019, which was held from 19th June to the 21st
of June, in Male City.
A total of 18 surfers took part in the competition which was
held at Raalhugandu.
The four finalist who will be taking part in the World
Surfing Games are; Ismail Smiley Rasheed, Ahmed Ammadey Ageel, Hassan Chika
Naasih, and Hussain Iboo Areef.
The World Surfing Games is scheduled to be held in Japan,
during the month of September. There is no doubt that the national team will be
doing their utmost best to train in order to receive the best results to make
their nation proud.
