Ooredoo Maldives has launched Data Rollover service to its Postpaid customers using 600 and above plans. With the launch of Data Rollover service to Postpaid customers, any unused data by the end of the month will automatically be carried forward and added to the next months’ data allowance.

Data Rollover is available exclusively for Ooredoo customers on Postpaid 600 plans and above. This includes both Varah Thafaathu Postpaid Plans and Eku Postpaid Plan. The entire package inclusive monthly data allowance can be carried forward to the next month, excluding social allowances and add-ons. Unused data can also be carried forward beyond one month, as per the maximum rollover amounts for the plan.

• The maximum rollover amount will be 30 GB for Postpaid 600 & 800 Plans.

• The maximum rollover amount will be 200 GB for Postpaid 1000 Plans and above.

“At Ooredoo Maldives, we are always working to improve our products and services to suit the evolving needs of customers. Today, we launch data-rollover services for postpaid plans with larger data allowances, which often have unused data remaining at the end of the month. We are greatly pleased to be able to facilitate this request from many of our customers, and hope that this further enhances their experience with Ooredoo Maldives.” said Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Hussain Niyaz.

This is the most recent development from Ooredoo’s continuous efforts to enhance its internet experience for customers. The company recently launched Aachaa Prepaid, which introduced long term commitment plans and daily data plans at the best rates in the market. Following the increased internet needs within households during the pandemic, Ooredoo Maldives also revamped its home broadband services and business broadband services, which provided up to 68% increased data allowances and up to 5 times greater speeds.

Since it’s establishment in the Maldives, Ooredoo has led the market in bringing in new technologies to the country, introducing innovative new services and ensuring inclusive and affordable access to mobile and internet services across all corners of the nation. The company will continue its efforts to connect local communities and businesses to the best opportunities for social and economic progress, in the current digital era.
