Maldivian to begin daily scheduled flights to Kulhudhuffushi - Commencing on November

The national airline carrier Maldivian has announced its daily scheduled flights to Kulhudhuffushi commencing on November 1, 2019.

In a ceremony held at Hanimaadhoo International Airport to inaugurate Hanimaadhoo - Cochin flights, Managing Director of Maldivian Mr. Mohamed Rizvi mentioned in his speech that in this upcoming November 1st onwards, daily flights will be arranged to land at Kulhudhuffushi airport.

Maldivian had initially prepared to operate daily flights to Kulhudhuffushi on 28th of this month.  Kulhudhuffushi is the capital of Haa Dhaalu Atoll administrative division on Thiladhunmathi Atoll in the north of the Maldives. Therefore, consisting of a large population with many travelling for various reasons, the demand for daily flights is considerable.

Currently, Maldivian operate flights to Kulhudhuffushi three times a week which are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. With the ticket prices for Kulhudhuffushi flights being in the range between MVR 805, MVR 954 and MVR 1113, all flights operated are morning flights.
