SriLankan Airlines has commenced special repatriation flights to London, UK and Melbourne, Australia to bring back Sri Lankan nationals who wishes to return to the country.
The repatriation flights to London are scheduled to fly on 3rd, 4th and 5th of May 2020. Whilst special flights to Melbourne will be operated on 8th May. These operations are being conducted with the help of Sri Lankan Government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and its local carrier.
Sri Lankan Airlines staff and business continue to provide a nonstop service 24 x 7, for both passenger and cargo operations and ground services during this serious and challenging global crisis brought upon by COVID-19.
Since 8 April, SriLankan has temporarily suspended passenger flights in response to travel restrictions imposed by Sri Lanka and countries in its global network due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
