Denmarks Danish Air Transport (DAT) has once again started
operating its chartered flights to Gan, Addu City, located at the south of
Maldives. The first Danish Air Transport flight landed at Gan International
Airport on 21 December 2016 with 70 tourists.
These flights are being conducted in association with
Canareef Resort and Primo Tours similar to last years flights which were
conducted along with Primo Tours and Splendid Asia. The DATs A320 aircrafts
with 180-passenger capacity will be used in operations, while the airline is
scheduled to conduct eighteen flights to Gan, until April next year.
The direct flights from Denmark to Gan will be conducted on
Wednesdays. The new flights will be an added excitement to Addu City, which has
seen Sri Lankan Airline starting operations to the Atoll as well as a new
seaplane terminal at Gan International Airport. The Danish Air Transport
