The Second International Food and Agriculture Exhibition has commenced at Expo Center Karachi, Pakistan. This event is organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan. This event will feature a Master Class presentation by Chef Ishag Solih, Vice President of the Chefs Guild of Maldives, who is visiting Karachi on the invitation of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, to participate in the 2nd Global Cuisine Cooking Show.
Chef Ishag Solih’s Master Class presentation taking place today (10th August 2024) will spotlight Maldivian cuisine, showcasing traditional dishes such as Maldivian Bajiyaa, Kandu Kukulhu with Maldivian coconut rice, and Maldivian Breadfruit Pudding. This demonstration is part of an initiative to introduce Maldivian gastronomy to a global audience. Chef Solih is a Worldchefs certified Continental Judge, and winner of Executive Chef Award and Long Service Special Award at the first CGM Chefs Awards 2022. Currently, Chef Solih works at Royal Island Resort as Executive Chef.
