Three restaurants serving international dishes have been introduced
at The Marina, Crossroads Maldives.
They are the world-famous restaurant, Ministry of Crab, Sazanami
and the new one called Carne Diem, a place specially made for meat lovers, a steak
house.
Ministry of Crab at Crossroads will be the fourth outpost
outside Sri Lanka. The Founder of Ministry of Crab & Nihonbashi, Dharshan
Munidasa expresses joy and proudness bringing it to Maldives. He further
informed that crabs will be brought in three times a week and fresh water Prawns
chilled, Clams and even Oysters will be imported every two days from Sri Lanka.
"Sazanami is my new Japanese restaurant, a simpler version
of Nihonbashi," says Dharshan Munidasa. The enjoyable dishes of this restaurant
will compliment the hot amazing weather of Maldives. Sazanami means small waves,
ripples; a name Dharshan came up with about 15 years ago.
Sazanami will be first restaurant in the Maldives to import
unfrozen chicken. According to Dharshan, some amazing chicken dishes will be
served to the guests.
"Carne Diem, its my steak house, my first. This would be something
very special, my new baby if you will." Said Dharshan. It starts with fire, the
heat and the fuel, an oven is being designed for the steak and the prototype
has already been built. A weekly steak test is being done in Sri Lanka with a
heating temperature of 650 degrees. To feast on a steak out of this world, be
