Ooredoo Partners with Maldives Islamic Bank to Offer Handsets & Accessories Instalment Services to Customers

Ooredoo Maldives today announced its partnership with Maldives Islamic Bank, enabling instalment payment services to customers for handsets and accessories via MIB Ujaalaa Dhiriulhun (UD) financing facility. This partnership with MIB enables smart financing option to acquire handsets to Ooredoo customers and customers of other networks with an MIB UD facility to purchase handsets that are within their range of budget on instalment payments. This is the first time in the Maldives, a telecom company to sign up with banking services to enable smart financing option to acquire devices and accessories.

The company offers a wide range of handsets ranging from low-end, mid and high-end mobiles and accessories at the best rates in the market with exciting benefits to Ooredoo customers that offers Free Data for a number of months. With MIB financing option, customers from other networks with an MIB UD facility will also be able to purchase their favorite devices at the best rate with a payment plan that suits their financing.  

Instalment plan will be prepared and approved by MIB per customer through the available limit of the applicant. Customers interested to purchase their favorite devices via the MIB financing scheme can visit Ooredoo shops in Male’ & Hulhumale.
