Soneva, the world-leading luxury resort operator, welcomes Artur Simes and Sonika Adlanka to its Soneva Villa Ownership (SVO) team.
The SVO program is the first and
only program that allows clients to own a luxury villa, in the Maldives. The program
is particularly appealing to those who frequently holiday in the Maldives. The
villas are designed and built according to the needs of the owners and, once
built, are looked after by the Soneva Management team. When owners are not
holidaying in their villas, they can opt to rent them out by joining Sonevas
Villa Rental Programme.
With extensive experience in the
hospitality and real estate sectors, Artur brings a wealth of experience to the
SVO program. Artur is the founder of Atlantic Estates, a network of estate
agencies, which later became affiliated to Sothebys International Realty. Before
joining Soneva Artur served as the Chief Operating Officer Sales & Marketing
at Royal Park Mauritius and as Director of Sales & Marketing at Porto Montengegro.
Artur joins the Soneva team as the Managing Director Soneva Villa Ownership.
Sonika Adlakha brings almost two decades
of hospitality experience. She has previously worked with Shangri-La Resorts,
Las Vegas Sands Corporation and InterContinental Group. Most recently she was
the Director of Sales for the Sun Aqua brand under Sun Siyam Group, in Maldives.
Sonika joins the Soneva team as the Director of Sales Soneva Villa Ownership.
About Soneva Fushi
An
imaginative hideaway.
Hidden
among dense foliage within the Baa Atoll UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Soneva Fushi
inspires the imagination. The award-winning resort truly defines the essence of
barefoot luxury with Robinson Crusoe simplicity. The resorts down-to-earth
personality is reflected in its nature-inspired architecture.
If
the experiences are magical, the philosophy is simple; no news, no shoes.
From Malé International Airport guests
can take a seaplane directly to Soneva Fushi, please note that the seaplane
only flies during the day, with the last flight leaving at 17:00. Guests may
also choose to take a domestic flight to the nearby Dharavandhoo Airport,
followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to the resorts. The last domestic flight
is at 23:15. The duration of both flights is 30-40 minutes. We recommend
arrival by seaplane, as it offers a birds eye view of the beautiful islands of
the Maldives. We also have a private airport lounge for Soneva guests at the
seaplane terminal.
Eva and Sonu Shivdasani built Soneva
Fushi, as well as their home, on the deserted island of Kunfunadhoo in the
Maldives in 1995. They had no idea that their intensely personal vision of a
locally crafted villa and environmentally responsible lifestyle would form the
basis of a successful collection of world-class hotels, resorts and spas. But
thats exactly what happened. Soneva Fushi was the first castaway resort in
the Maldives, pioneering a trend for back-to-nature luxury holidays.
