Sri Lankan bags two accolades at 4th Annual South Asian Travel Awards (SATA)

SriLankan Airlines, the National Carrier of Sri Lanka and a member of the oneworld alliance was awarded two prestigious titles at the South Asian Travel Awards 2019 for "Leading International Airline" and "Leading Airline Passenger Class - Business" under visitors choice category. The two awards were collected by Sujeewa Rodrigo, SriLankan Airlines Manager for Maldives.

Launched in 2016 by Maldives premier event management company Highrise, SATA is the first ever regional travel awards endorsed by multi-national associations, providing the tourism sector of the South Asian region with recognition towards their facilities and service excellence. It aims to encourage and raise service standards in the regions tourism industry.

SATA has been held in Mount Lavinia in 2016, Equator Village in 2017, The Taj Mahal Palace In 2018 and the recent edition in Amari Galle , Sri Lanka.
