Jana Elected President of MNACI | Four MPs, Four Women MPs

At the Annual General Meeting held by MNACI, all major contractors from across the country participated to work with the organisation. A total of 26 members will be represented on the board.

President Mohamed Ali Janah has been elected as the President of the Maldives National Construction Organization for the next term.

Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) or former MANCI's annual general meeting held last night in Meeruma included the appointment of 26 members to its board. This year's board will have top executives from all the companies in the country's construction sector. There are also a large number of small-scale contractors and professionals from the industry.

Vice President - Alau Ali

Secretary General - Adnan Haleem

Treasurer - Hasan Habib

Treasurer's aide - Amin Mohammad

MNACI has also been elected as former presidents for key positions. Ibrahim Waheed, head of FW Construction, and Abdulla Mohamed, owner of Amin Construction, were elected to the post. The most notable is the appointment of four women members to the governing body, which plays an important role in the functioning of the organisation, and the election of four members of the People's Majlis.

This time, four members of the People's Majlis have been elected to the post after being opened for the posts in the governing body.

Maafannu North MP Mohamed Nazim (Colonel Nazim) - (RCC)

Thinadhoo North MP Saudullah Hilmi (Sweet Engineering)

Ihavandhoo MP Ahmed Naseer (Uni Construction)

MNACI is an organization of 190 companies. It is now the largest organisation in the country that the world now believes in.
